Cowra Food Hall
The aim of the Cowra Food Hall is to provide weekly access to food and household goods at reasonable cost in a caring and supportive environment and to reduce the anxiety of food insecurity for members of our community. Stock is sourced from FoodBank NSW and local retailers.

- Who can come? To be eligible to register, you must reside within the Cowra Shire, have a HealthCare or Pension Card or a referral from Cowra Clergy, Cowra Health Care Services, Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul or the Neighbourhood Centre. Only one registration is permitted per household. Food items are available at reduced cost, with extra items free of charge. From week to week fruit, vegies, bread, meat and other foods can be free, depending on availability. Currently the service charges are: $10 - a choice of 11 items, $15 - a choice of 16 items, $20 - a choice of 21 items. Christmas Hampers are also available at low cost. Morning tea is served to our clients. EFTPOS available. We welcome volunteers who are able to assist on Thursday afternoons or Friday mornings. If you have excess produce in your garden, that excess would also be appreciated to boost our supplies of fresh food. We ask our patrons to bring their own shopping bags, please.
